TPV Technology Limited is an innovative LCD and OLED TVs producer as well as PCB (Printed Circuit Board) mainboards producer. Our company offers TV assembly centers for ODM, OEM and CMS clients. Business model Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) means that the company designs and produces finish goods for order and accordingly specification of brand owner. Market of original equipment production (ODM) is currently the fastest growing sector of electronics in the world.
TPV Group as a producer of TVs and PCB mainboards has at present thirteen factories located around the world. Seven from them are in China, the rest production centers are in Russia, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil and in Poland in Gorzow Wielkopolski.
Decision about investment in LCD TV production in Gorzow Wielkopolski was taken in March 2007 and not quite a year later, in February 2008, the factory got a permission and started production. After a month TPV Displays Polska gained full production capacity.
Year 2013 brought opening of PCBA section and three manufacturing lines producing printed circuits, which are boards used to install electronic sub-assembly. The factory started producing PCB boards and new generation of TVs.
In 2015 production in TPV Displays Polska achieved a record result of 4 million TVs and more than 2 million PCB boards.
The production trend was maintained also in 2016. The number of TV sets produced by the factory can easily be compared to 5395 full trucks covering a distance of nearly 100km.
The following years, especially 2018, proved to be record-breaking in terms of the number of TV sets produced in Gorzów. In response to the growing market demand, the factory maintained an upward trend and managed to produce 4,4 million TV sets, which is 6,300 full trucks set at the Gorzów Wlkp.-Szczecin distance. During the high season, up to 27 thousand TV sets were produced daily. In the production of OLED televisions, we have proved to be the market leader by producing over 140,000 TV sets in 2018.
The share of the Philips brand on the European market increased in 2017 from 7% up to 10%.
In the following 2019 year, the factory's management plans to increase the production of TV sets to 4,5 million units, which means 6,500 full trucks set at the Gorzów Wlkp.-Poznan distance.
Choosing Gorzow Wielkopolski for the seat of factory occurred to be convenient on account of central localization of this town on the map of Europe. Additionally TPV factory in Gorzow is located in the Kostrzyn-Slubice Special Economic Zone, what is connected to many facilitates and tax deduction. Cooperation with KS-SSE resulted in building factory of 100k m2 total surface, which consists of the following areas: production, warehouse and distribution. Production area has ten assembly lines, including one special line adjusted to new product introduction fast assembly and three PCBA (printed circuit) lines.
We have our own distribution center and developed direct supply chain, which is capable to send products to regional distribution centers. We also have Shared Service Center for logistics, finances and after sale service.
We offer our clients modern solutions. Thanks to our own factory of TVs and printed circuits we can let ourselves for high diversity and flexibility in production.
Currently the company employs from 1400 to even 2400 full-time employees.
Mr Franz Jursa is the general manager of factory in Gorzow and from March 2015 is also a general manager of TPV Technology Limited factories in Europe.
